Admission Procedure

T.J.S. Public School follows a transparent and systematic admission process aligned with CBSE guidelines. Admissions are granted purely based on eligibility criteria, interaction performance (where applicable), and seat availability.

Admission is confirmed only after verification of documents and payment of fees.

Admissions are open for Kindergarten to Senior Secondary classes. Parents seeking admission are encouraged to visit the campus to understand the academic environment, infrastructure, and facilities offered.

For Kindergarten: Age should meet the prescribed norms for the respective academic year.
For Primary & Middle School: Admission is granted based on previous academic records and interaction.
For Senior Secondary (XI): Stream selection is based on Grade X performance and subject eligibility criteria as per CBSE norms.

  • Students must maintain discipline and decorum within the campus at all times.

Term III – Last Date

The Term III fee must be cleared before the commencement of final examinations as per the schedule issued by the school.

Mode of Taking Leave

  • Leave must be applied through a written letter by the parent or guardian.

Emergency Leave Procedure

Medical Certificate Rules (For Leave Exceeding Two Days)

  • If a student is absent for more than two consecutive days due to illness, a valid medical certificate must be submitted.
  • The certificate must be issued by a registered medical practitioner.
  • Without a medical certificate, the leave may be treated as unauthorized.

Attendance Requirement (75%)

  • Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance as per academic norms.
  • Shortage of attendance may result in ineligibility to appear for final examinations.
  • Attendance is calculated on a cumulative basis for the academic year.
  • Regular attendance is also considered during promotion decisions.

Leave Permission Guidelines (Higher Classes)

  • Students of higher classes (especially IX to XII) must avoid unnecessary leave during academic sessions.
  • Leave during examination periods will not be granted except in genuine medical emergencies.
  • Prior written approval from the Principal is required for extended leave.
  • Academic responsibility remains with the student to complete missed portions

  • Prescribed school shirt and shorts / trousers
  • School belt and tie (if applicable)
  • Black shoes with socks
  • Short and neatly trimmed hair

Uniform should be worn properly and maintained in clean condition.

Kindergarten
